BOXING

Boxing is as old as the
concept of sports itself. Examples of it can be found throughout
history. In 4000 B.C. the North Africans were boxing. The Greeks adopted
it as an Olympic sport in 688 B.C. The Englanders brought the term
boxing to the sport to distinguish between fighting to settle disputes
and under agreed rules for sport. Boxing as a distinct sport dates back
to 1867 when rules were drafted.
Samuel Adams and Zack De La Rocha instruct
amateur boxing at Adams Muay Thai.

GROUND FIGHTING

If you get knocked down, trip, or just
fall, you need to know how to fight from the ground. We use Marc
McFann's self defense ground-fighting combining Martial Art elements of
Judo, Jujitsu, Kali, Silat, and Jeet Kune Do grappling.

all-encompassing arts include very comprehensive weapon and empty hand
systems. The Filipino Martial Arts have been combat proven throughout
history since before the Spanish Conquest in the 1500's, to the Japanese
invasion during World War 2. These Martial Arts emphasize the

timing, range, footwork, and body mechanics.
